The story

In Istituto Stampa creating flexible food packaging is not just a job

It is a know-how rooted in a family tradition that began over 90 years ago.

Istituto Stampa was founded in 1933 from the idea of Fulgenzio Mussini - first a charcuterie worker and then an apprentice printer - who decided to set up a business for the sheet-printing of vegetable parchment, intended for butter packaging.

With the end of the war and the economic recovery, his son Paolo also joined the company, to whom we owe the development of packaging printing for the dairy sector, for cheese wrappings such as stracchino, mozzarella, caciotta and ricotta.

Then, in the early 1990s, the founder Fulgenzio's grandsons - Alberto and Giovanni Mussini - joined the company and the business continued to grow, in terms of number of employees, machinery and services offered.

Until recent years, when it is the fourth generation that has taken over the family business.

Today, whether flexible packaging made of paper, plastic film or aluminium - used individually or laminated together - in Istituto Stampa, we are able to offer customised solutions and tailor-made packaging for various sectors.

From the dairy to the confectionery industry, from the cured meats market to the frozen food market, including fresh and dry products.
