History

ISTITUTO STAMPA was founded in 1933 as a one-man business for the sheet printing of vegetable parchment for butter packaging. The idea came from the founder, Fulgenzio Mussini, who first became a butcher and then an apprentice printer, decided to set up his own business.

With the end of the war and with the economic recovery, his son Paolo joined the company and, together with Fulgenzio, began to develop the printing of packaging for cheese (stracchini, mozzarelle, caciotte, ricotte).

In the early 1990s Paolo’s sons Alberto and Giovanni joined I.S. In the last few years, the fourth generation has joined the family business.

Today the company, while maintaining the dairy sector as its core business, has extended its product range entering the confectionery, charcuterie, bakery and fresh pasta markets.
